 Trademark Agencies and Law Firms:

In order to comprehensively promote the reform of trademark facilitation, the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office attaches great importance to and vigorously promotes the online application for trademark registration. According to the requirements of the “Announcement on Further Improving the Facilitation of Trademark Digital Certificate Application” issued on January 31, 2018, the production period of trademark digital certificate application will be shortened to 1-2 months from March 1; Trademark agencies with an average daily online filing volume of more than 50 can apply for a second trademark digital certificate, and trademark agencies with more than 100 applications can apply for a third trademark digital certificate, and each China trademark agency can apply for a maximum of three trademark digital certificates. From August 5, 2019, the application and production period of trademark digital certificate will be shortened to one month.

Trademark agencies and law firms that have submitted applications for “Trademark Digital Certificate” and passed the examination can receive the “Trademark Digital Certificate” from the date of issuance of this notice。 Please refer to the attachment for specific precautions and collection list.

Precautions for obtaining “Trademark Digital Certificate”.

1. How to receive the trademark digital certificate

1. Self-pick-up: The applicant for the digital certificate shall hold a letter of introduction issued by the agency or law firm to receive the “Trademark Digital Certificate”, a copy of the business license (copy) of the trademark agency or a copy of the first page of the law firm’s practice license (copy) and a copy of the annual inspection and assessment record page. The original and photocopy of the recipient’s ID card should be collected at Window 9 of the Registration Hall of the Trademark Office. The aforesaid collection materials shall be stamped with the official seal of the applicant for the trademark digital certificate.

2. Mailing: It will be sent by postal courier to the mailing address filled in by the user when registering, please ensure the accuracy of the mailing information, in case of return or rejection, you need to prepare the aforementioned self-pickup materials to the No. 9 window of the registration hall of the Trademark Office to pick up.

2. The time and place to collect the digital certificate by yourself

Time: 9:00-11:00 a.m. on statutory working days; 14:30-16:00 p.m
