2025 Trademark Examination and Adjudication Meeting Held in Beijing

Recently, the 2025 Trademark Examination and Adjudication Work Conference was held in Beijing. The conference summarized the achievements of the 2024 trademark examination and adjudication work and made arrangements for key tasks in 2025. Zhang Zhicheng, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, attended the conference and delivered a speech.
The conference pointed out that 2025 is the final year of the 14th Five-Year Plan and also an important year for further comprehensive deepening of reform. It is necessary to implement the spirit of the “three meetings” of the intellectual property system at the beginning of the year and the key tasks of the Party Group of the China National Intellectual Property Administration, grasp the correct political direction, further comprehensively deepen the reform of trademark business, improve the quality and efficiency of examination and adjudication, strengthen the capacity of examination and adjudication, enhance examination cooperation and supervision, serve the high-quality development of the economy and society, and high-quality complete the tasks of the 14th Five-Year Plan, laying a solid foundation for a good start of the 15th Five-Year Plan.
At the meeting, the China Trademark Office made a report on trademark examination and adjudication, and the reporting units of the examination cooperation made remarks. The conference commended the advanced collectives and individuals in improving the quality and efficiency of trademark examination in 2024.
