Notice on Collecting “Trademark Digital Certificate” 202517 (Batch No. 384)

 All Trademark Agencies and Law Firms:

To fully promote the reform of trademark convenience, the China National Intellectual Property Administration Trademark Bureau has highly valued and vigorously promoted the online application for trademark registration. According to the “Announcement on Further Improving the Convenience of Applying for Trademark Digital Certificates” issued on January 31, 2018, starting from March 1, the application and production period for trademark digital certificates will be shortened to 1-2 months. Trademark agencies with an average daily online application volume exceeding 50 may apply for a second trademark digital certificate, and those exceeding 100 may apply for a third trademark digital certificate. Each trademark agency is limited to applying for a maximum of three trademark digital certificates. Starting from August 5, 2019, the application and production period for trademark digital certificates will be shortened to 1 month.

Submitted“Trademark Digital Certificate”application and reviewed qualified trademark agencies and law firms can collect“Trademark Digital Certificate” from the date of this notice. Specific collection precautions and the list of recipients are attached.

“Trademark Digital Certificate”Issuance Precautions

I. Method for Collecting Trademark Digital Certificates

1.Self-collect: The applicant for the digital certificate should hold the introduction letter issued by the agency institution or law firm, the copy of the business license (duplicate) of the trademark agency institution or the cover page and annual inspection and assessment record page of the practicing license (duplicate) of the law firm, the original and copy of the identity card of the recipient, and go to theTrademark Bureau Registration Hall9Window to collecttheTrademark Digital Certificate.” All the above materials for collection should be stamped with the seal of the applicant for the trademark digital certificate.

2.Mailing: It will be sent via postal express to the mailing address filled in by the user during registration. Please ensure the accuracy of the mailing information. If there is a return or refusal to receive, you need to prepare the aforementioned self-collected materials toTrademark Bureau Registration Hall9Window to collect.

II. Time and place for self-collecting the digital certificate

Time: 9:00-11:00 in the morning and 14:30-16:00 in the afternoon on legal working days.

III. Digital Certificate Application Guide

After receiving“Trademark Digital Certificate”,”log in to the China Trademark Network, click“Online Application”,”carefully read“Trademark Online Application System User Agreement”,”and then click“Accept”,”to enter the“Trademark Online Application System”home page. Follow the“Trademark Online Application Guide”to operate, install the certificate assistant, and then you can log in.
