Introduction of the Department

Main Responsibilities and Structure:

The Trademark Bureau of the China National Intellectual Property Administration is a subordinate public institution. Its main responsibilities include: undertaking trademark examination and registration, administrative adjudication, and other specific tasks; participating in the research, formulation, and revision of the Trademark Law and its implementing regulations, rules, and other normative documents; participating in the standardization of trademark registration practices; participating in policy research in the trademark field; participating in the construction, research, analysis, and dissemination of trademark information; providing business guidance to trademark examination cooperative units; organizing education and training for the trademark examination team; and handling other tasks assigned by the China National Intellectual Property Administration.
The Trademark Bureau has a total of 355 positions, all of which are financially supported public institution positions.
